TJAŠA BENČINA
Born in 1968, Tjaša Benčina is an economist by profession. She has been employed at Intereuropa since 1989, working in various departments. She sat on its ethics committee, was vice-president of ŠAK-KS 90, Intereuropa’s trade union, and chaired the company’s works council. She also sat on the company’s supervisory board as the employee representative, and acted as a key link in worker participation in governance and the wider involvement of labour.
Under the Worker Participation in Management Act, and at the proposal of the works council, the supervisory board appointed her as a member of the company’s management board (as the workers’ director) at its meeting of 13 August 2025. The new workers’ director began her five-year term of office on 13 August 2025.
