Born in 1970, he is a graduate of the University of Ljubljana’s School of Economics and Business. For the majority of his career he has focused on corporate management and governance, including spells as CEO of Emona Obala d.d. and on the management board at Droga Portorož d.d. He has held executive and managerial positions at firms in a variety of industries with a presence on international markets. 

Intereuropa d.d.’s supervisory board appointed him as president of its management board on 13 August 2025. His four-year term of office began on 18 August 2025.
